Panzerkampfwagen B2 (F) Flammpanzer

This is the build log for the Peter Pig Char B1 into a Panzerkampfwagen B2 (F) Flammpanzer for Market Garden

Stage 1 - Clean up

The pack contains six white metal pieces. Two tracks, hull, rear plate, turret and gun with mantlet.

To give the tracks something to hold onto I decided to fill in the void.  This would also give me some stability from any rough handling

With the packing in place a liberal application of milliput was applied to the hull and I also filled in the void areas at the rear of the tracks.  This should provide a surface to secure the track sections to the hull.  I also filled in any joins between the rear plate and the hull.

I had to cut away the section around the gun barrel as this is white metal it is filled in and you cannot get to the barrel itself without removing this block of metal.  I will put a new drive shaft in using some plastic rod once it is ready

Bit of work today in between recovering from Rugby

Fuel tank printed.  Looks a bit bare so will need some stowage etc when I get round to painting it.

Grey undercoat on. I am not going to do anymore on this now. It is a gaming piece so once cured onto the painting.

Base coat on. Turret drilled out for the revised hatch layout
