been a while...(4)

As I my mate had to bring up the three King Tigers as I don't have any (or didn't) I then ordered some in plastic.  While they are in the post I used Piers Brand excellent guide to weathering late war German armour to try out some ideas. 

First on a Zvezda 1/100 Jagdtiger.

Which in turn meant that I could get the Airbrush out and try and get some of my unpainted armour finished.

Then it was wait for the next Battlegroup supplement to come out.  This time "Spring Awakening" which sets the scene for some early 1945 games in Hungary and lets you have a real reason to field all that heavy German armour we all have in our collections.


The supplements ocassionaly carry a narrative campaign.  This is Scenario 1 from the Spring Awakening book pitting King Tigers from LSSAH up against a Soviet defence line while slogging through deep mud and poor conditions.







been a while...

said Snake Plissken in "Escape from New York" and now me because it has indeed been a while. Well, since I posted anything Ihave been cracking with plenty of plastic and painting.

First up was taking the dremel to some O8 Polish PKMS gunners and cut the gunner away to let me mate this with some prone Soviet ATGW crews to create some PKM teams for my 15mm Soviets
